Job Responsibilities
1. Market Expansion and Channel Development
Responsible for developing and executing sales initiatives targeting higher education institutions and research markets within assigned regions, aligned with company marketing strategies; Engage with Principal Investigators (PIs) or key decision-makers at universities, research organizations, and experimental centers to expand collaborative application scenarios and procurement opportunities;
Build long-term partnerships with regional Key Account (KA) clients, maintaining networks of critical customers and subject matter experts.
2. Solution-Based Sales
Gain deep understanding of aerial robotics (autonomous intelligent drones) application needs in education and research, and tailor solutions addressing customer pain points;
Develop channel agents within assigned territory, maintain channel relationships, and empower agents/partners to achieve results;
Maintain relationships with key accounts in assigned territory, drive direct customer conversions, and establish flagship projects within the region;
Coordinate technical and R&D resources to drive project delivery and collections, achieving company sales targets.
3. Information Analysis & Feedback
Conduct regional customer research, regularly analyze client needs and competitive markets;
Participate in developing product sales strategies and market positioning, assist in refining solutions.
4. Project Management and Client Retention
Oversee key projects from lead follow-up through contract signing, acceptance, and payment collection;
Conduct regular client visits to enhance satisfaction and repeat purchase rates.
Job Requirements
1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher from a full-time program, with a background in science or engineering disciplines;
2. Industry Experience:
Familiarity with university or research project workflows and operations; 3+ years of sales experience in higher education/research institutions;
Familiarity with university bidding and procurement processes, or understanding of university/research channel business logic and workflows preferred.
3. Required Skills:
Ability to independently develop new clients, excellent solution presentation skills, and coordination with technical/product teams to address customer needs;
Strong business negotiation skills, professional demeanor and appearance;
4. Preferred Qualifications:
Sales background in drone or engineering projects (embodied intelligence);
Familiarity with AI/robotics academic conferences (e.g., IROS, ICRA) and university lab ecosystems; Strong English communication skills to support international university client interactions when required.
